New artist submission guidelines:

Are you a local artist? Do you have a unique style or medium that you work in? Well then we’d love to see what you have got! Given features local artists exclusively. We have an ever growing fanbase of collectors from all over California and we have quickly become THE place in the Castro to get a great piece of art. Our artists come in all mediums, shapes and sizes, so the sky’s the limit! To submit your work for consideration, please follow our guidelines:

Submissions must be in an email with no more than 3-4 pictures and a short description of your work and what it is about. A link to your website or online portfolio is also acceptable.

Attachments must be in .jpg, .gif or .pdf format. All others will be deleted.

DO NOT stop by in person to show us your work! We appreciate the enthusiasm, but doing so not only disrupts the business in the store, but will immediately disqualify you from consideration.

If after reviewing your work electronically we determine that it might be a good fit, we will contact you within 48 hours to set up a meeting to see the work in person.

If you aren’t contacted, please don’t be discouraged! We sometimes get more submissions than we can handle and if the work is not the right fit, we may have to pass to make room for other submissions. If you would like to re-submit work or new work, please feel free to do so at any time.
